Our Candles

What's the best way to burn your candles? 

Always allow the wax burn pool to reach the outer edges of the jars before extinguishing the flame. This will prevent the wax from ''tunnelling'' and allow your candle to burn evenly. We recommend burning your candle for 2-3 hours at a time but never for more than 4 hours.

Never leave the candle unattended. After use, your jars can be recycled - in any way you like!

Can my glass jars be re-used?

Of course! When your handmade candle has reached the end of its life, you can soak and wash out the remaining wax with hot water and soap. If any stubborn wax remains, place your candle in the freezer. Once the wax hardens, it can be chipped out along with the wick. Carefully empty the wax out and wipe clean.

Re-using our jars could not be any easier! They make great small planters for succulents and also make great mini storage solutions for pens, pencils etc. - anything you like!

How fragrant are our handmade candles? 

We use natural soy wax, our candles will not have the same scent throw as paraffin candles. Soy wax candles can produce a strong and pleasant scent, but the intensity of the fragrance can vary depending on the fragrance choice. 

We like that our candles are not overwhelming and can be used daily. Our candles fill a medium-sized room nicely.

Why use soy wax?

There are so many reasons! To name a few, we love that it's a renewable material and carbon neutral. We love that it burns cleanly, evenly and for a longer period of time than paraffin waxes. We love the way soy wax smells when blended with fragrance oils.

But most of all, we love working with soy wax because it's a non-toxic and natural material that we can touch and feel with human hands every day without damaging skin.

Are soy wax candles safe to burn indoors?

Yes! Of course, soy wax candles are safe to burn indoors when used properly. Make sure to trim the wick to 1/4 inch before each use, and keep the candle away from flammable materials. Following safety guidelines will help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.

Are soy wax candles a good gift option? 

Yes, of course! Soy wax candles make excellent gifts for various occasions. They are thoughtful and environmentally friendly gifts that can provide relaxation and ambience to the recipient's home.
